As part of the LA 5303 / LAD 4012 Urban Greening: Technologies and Techniques course, students from NUS MLA Year 1 and BLA Year 4 visited City Sprouts to learn about urban farming in Singapore.
Founded in 2019, City Sprouts @ Henderson is a pioneering redevelopment project that transformed part of the former Henderson Secondary School into an urban farming redevelopment.
After an introduction by Mr Zac Toh, founder of City Sprouts and GWS Living Art, students were given a tour of the premises, as well as green wall, green roof and project showcases by the City Sprouts team.
